Intentional ministry training.

In a world of carbon-copy training resources, churches often struggle with recruiting and training. We offer a hands-on approach to building up and empowering your team.

What & How

Our catered, intentional training framework is a top-to-bottom method across multiple stages that we’ve used time, and time again, to help churches thrive in the worship arts.

Stage I: Assess

Where are you at?

What does it feel like to be in a service? How do your teams operate and flow? What does a rehearsal look like? What gear do you have, and what gear might you need to consider upgrading? These are some questions we hope to answer during the assessment stage. We want to know more about your church and culture before bringing our ideas to the table, so we can meet you where you are.

This is our opportunity to get to know you and your team, building a relationship with them to inspire participation in our training, which will empower them and create sustainable, lasting change. We see this stage as the beginning of a long-lasting relationship. In addition, we will multi-track record your service for future reference and training.

Stage II: Redeem | Reset

Let's re-vamp your systems.

Purchasing new gear is rarely the best way to fix existing problems. Here, we take what we learned during our assessment stage, redeem things from your existing processes, and reset what we can't. This includes re-wiring, patching, labelling, and programming your audio and musical equipment. We will even create cheat sheets and reference resources for the new system.

We may suggest new equipment (if absolutely necessary) and will connect you with an authorized dealer who will support your purchase needs.* This stage ensures that your current tech systems and musical equipment are optimized before we train your team.

*we do not sell gear.

“WorshipTechU was a joy to work with. They saved our church a ton of money by training us to use our existing gear well instead of just buying new stuff.”

Stage III: Equip

Teams need to be set up for success.

We can only expect people to succeed when we give them the proper tools to thrive. This stage involves a series of training nights, and our opportunity to spend one-on-one time with your team members. We'll help bring your worship community together by helping each musical and tech position understand "the bigger picture", and how their parts contribute to the service and worship as a whole.

While each week we will focus on a specific instrument and mix element, we will continue to work with your entire team in this stage. We encourage your tech team to attend every week. Musicians are welcome to only commit to their focus night.

What Next?

This is just the beginning. While we hope to be an ongoing resource, we believe our training will be more than enough to have you entering every service confidentially. We believe you will come away from our program with a more unified vision of what worship could sound and feel like, and how to achieve that sound and experience.

We will provide you with supplementary resources and cheat sheets to make sure your team continues to succeed well after our time together!
